This policy explains what information Lavish Tails Pet Spa (“we,” “us,” “our”), 76 Main St, Unit 1L, Woodbridge, NJ 07095, collects through this website, through online booking, and when you book or visit as a client — and what we do with it.
1. What this website collects
This website has no contact forms, no sign-ups, no user accounts, and no analytics or advertising trackers, and it doesn’t set any cookies of its own.
Like nearly every website, the server that hosts this site automatically records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the date and time. These server logs are used only to run, troubleshoot and protect the website.
2. Third-party services on this website
- Google Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser information when a page loads.
- Google Maps. The map on our home page is embedded from Google Maps. Google may collect information and set cookies when the map loads or when you use it.
- Website hosting. This site is hosted by Replit on Google Cloud. Their servers receive the technical information described above, and the hosting platform may set a technical cookie that routes your visit to the right server. It isn’t used for advertising or to track you across other websites.
Google’s handling of that information is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
When you select a link to Instagram, Facebook, Google reviews, or our phone number or email address, you’re using that service or app, and its own privacy policy applies.
3. Online booking through DaySmart
Our “Book” buttons take you to our online booking page, provided by DaySmart, a separate company. The information you enter there — such as your name, phone number, email address, your pet’s details and the appointment you’d like — is stored in our DaySmart account, where we use it to schedule and care for your pet. DaySmart processes it to provide the booking service and also handles information under its own policy, the DaySmart Privacy Policy.
This website itself never asks for or receives your payment card number.
4. Information we keep as your pet’s salon
When you book (online, by phone, by email or in person) or visit us, we may keep:
- your name, phone number, email address and other contact details;
- your pet’s name, breed, age, and any health, behavior or vaccination information you share with us;
- appointment history, service notes and payment records.
We use this information to schedule and confirm appointments, care for your pet safely, contact you about your pet or your appointments, keep business records, and meet our legal obligations.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only:
- with companies that help us run the salon, such as our booking/scheduling system and payment processor, for those purposes;
- when the law requires it, or when needed to protect the safety of people or pets.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
6. Cookies and “Do Not Track”
This website doesn’t set cookies of its own. Our hosting platform may set a technical routing cookie, and the embedded Google map may set Google cookies; you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the rest of the site will still work.
Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because this website doesn’t track visitors over time or across other websites, there is nothing for that signal to switch off, so the site works the same either way. Third-party services such as Google handle these signals under their own policies.
7. Children’s privacy
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
8. Security
This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information we keep. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive details such as card numbers by email.
9. Your choices and New Jersey residents
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we keep about you by calling or emailing us. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, and we’ll tell you if that applies.
The New Jersey Data Privacy Act applies to businesses that handle personal data of large numbers of consumers. Whether or not it applies to a small local business like ours, we’re glad to respond to reasonable requests about your information.
